The recently opened Whitemills Wake & Aqua Park is the UK's newest (and most exciting) purpose-built aqua park resort, offering a range of water-based activities for all ages. It's great fun for all the family, whether it's your first time riding, or you're experienced in the water! All participants must have signed a waiver before taking part in any activities, this can be done on their website prior to booking your session.
Being only a short 20-minute drive away from our luxury apartments, Whitemills offers; wakeboarding, aqua park sessions, children's aqua parties and open water swimming. Not heard of an aqua park? Think of a bouncy castle obstacle course on water. Although, if you're not one to get wet there is a bar and a restaurant on site too.

The team of instructors work with you in small well structured groups so you have a fantastic and productive learning experience and stay safe at all times. All of the staff are DBS checked and experienced in working with children. They have all been trained by either Surf Life Saving Great Britain Society (SLSGB) or Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), Surfing England, International Surfing Association (ISA), Water Skills Academy (WSA) and are kept up to date with training throughout the season at Kent Surf School - so that you know you are in safe hands!
If you've got a little bit of experience in the water and you're looking to brush up on your skills while you're staying here in beautiful Broadstairs, there is a wide range of courses. All equipment is provided and is regularly maintained and cleaned so you don't have to worry. You have the choice between paddle-boarding (SUP) or surfing lessons, although if you're looking for something more specific they offer a bespoke option too!
You can find Kent Surf School on Viking Bay, Broadstairs - a sheltered, sandy beach that is perfectly located to catch waves while being a sheltered bay ideal for beginners. You really get the best of both worlds here.
